Rome Marathon 2017.
For couple of weeks the weather was sunny and perfect. But as I heard it is a tradition it rains during Rome Marathon. So for this one Sunday - it was raining. We got up at 6; went to the Colloseum where Marathon was starting. It was very crowded - over 13k participants were getting ready to run. It started raining just with the "start" shot. than it turned to storm with thunders. still over 13k of runners contiuned to run. After 42.195 meters and approximatelly 4 hours we got to finish. exhausted. but happy. than it started raining even harder so after quick change to dry clothes we headed back home to Trastavere. The next day. The weather was perfect :)
